The Gentle Magic Of Fall

 Hello and happy Friday!  Today I finally had a chance to play with the new release from Hello Bluebird.  I have always loved their stamps - they have such a sweetness to them.  

For this card, I used the Cocoa Stand and In The Pumpkin Patch stamps and coordinating dies.  

For the background on this card, I inked a piece of white cardstock with Speckled Egg, Scattered Straw and Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink.  I also used the Oak Tree Scene Die Cut (retired) for the ground and tree.  Even though the die cuts out a frame, I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Frame Die Set along with a sheet of paper from their Favorite Flannel Plaid: Fall Petite Paper Pack.  

I didn't love the way this background came out, but it looked good once I had my little friends colored and placed.

I used Copic markers to color my little friends in the following colors:

• N0 N1, N2, N3, N4, N6 - Raccoon
• E40, E41, E13, E23, E25 - Hedgehog
• E30, E53, E34, E35 - Deer
• E23, E25, E27 - Tree Trunk
• E53, E34, E35, E25 - Sign
• YR12, YR04, YR18 - Pumpkin
• B00, BG01, BG53 - Hedgehog Scarf
• BG45, BG57, BG09 -Raccoon Sweater & Reindeer Scarf
• G21, YG63, G94 - Hedgehog Jacket
• R11, R20 - Cheeks & Ears

For the sentiment, I used one from the In The Pumpkin Patch set.  I heat embossed it on a dark brown cardstock with white embossing powder.

I like to add a little dimension to my cards, so a popped up the sentiment strip, Raccoon , Hedgehog and the little pumpkins in the corner.

I am just thrilled with the way this card turned out and I can't wait to play with these two sets again along with a couple of other ones that were just released in September.
