Reindeer Kisses - Pink & Main Stamptember Collaboration

Hello friends!  I picked up a few of Simon Says Stamp Stamptember collaborations this year and I thought I would share a card that I created with the collaboration with Pink & Main.  The stamp set is called Reindeer Kisses.  They are just so darn cute!

For the background on this card, I inked a piece of white cardstock with Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Ink.  I used the Trinity Stamps Layered Pine Forest Stencil to add in a few trees.  I used the same ink color so they didn't stand out too much.  I spattered the background with a little watered down white acrylic paint to create the snowflakes.

I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hills Border Die Set to cut out the snow drifts.  I dusted the tops of the hills with the left over Evergreen Bough ink that was left in my blending brush.

To add just a little more interest in the background, I used Lawn Fawn's Little Farm Fence.  I cut it from a medium gray cardstock and dusted the edges with a little Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink.

I used Copic markers to color in my little friends in the following colors;

  • BG72, BG75
  • E13, E15, E17, E27
  • R43, R35
  • C2, C3
  • B0000
  • C6

I like for my cards to have a little dimension, so I used foam tape and dots to pop up my reindeers and the mailbox.

This was a really quick card to make and I just love it!

Thank you for stopping by today!  Happy cardmaking!

Merriest Wishes

Hello!  While I still have a few Halloween cards to make, I wanted to take a break from them and do a Christmas card using the new Merriest Wishes Stamp and Die set from Pink and Main.  I love the little fox with the candy canes - 🩷🩷🩷🩷!

To start this card, I inked white cardstock with Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink.  I spattered them with a little watered down white acrylic paint.

Once the ink and paint was dry, I used an arch die from the Trinity Stamps Arched Shaped Card Die Set.

I glued the arch cut out on a piece of white cardstock cut to 5.5" x 4.25" using the outside piece to line up the arch piece so that it was in the correct place.  I glued the tree and star on it.  I used the Stitched Hillside Border from Lawn Fawn to cut a little hill from white cardstock.  I dusted the top edge with a very light amount of Spun Sugar.

Once I had it adhered to the white cardstock, I used strips of double sided foam tape to create a well for the shaker bits.  I used the Polished Shell Confetti and Iridescent Strawberry Shaker Pop Embellishments from Trinity Stamps to fill the well.  After placing piece of acetate over the arch opening I sealed up the card.  I like to use my Misti to help me line of the layers without spilling and of the bits.

On the top of the card, I glued another little "snow drift" cut from white cardstock using the Stitched Hillside Border Die from Lawn Fawn again.

For the sentiment, I used Simply Sentimental Stamp and Die Set from Trinity Stamps.  I heat embossed the sentiment using black embossing powder on a little bit of left over inked cardstock.

I used Copic markers to color my little friends in the following colors:

  • RV10, RV02, RV04 - Pinks
  • YR23, YR24, YR28, E50 - Fox
  • YG11, YG41, YG06 - Tree
  • R43, RV14, RV25 - Reds
  • YR30, E50 - Polar Bear
  • BG000, B00, B01 - Blues
  • C0, C2, C4, C6 - Penguin
  • Y00, Y08 - Star
  • R30 - Cheeks

I am really happy with the way this card turned out.  I also like that it doesn't have the traditional Christmas colors.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Happy cardmaking!

Autumn Bear

Hello and happy fall!  Who would just love to go romping in the leaves with these bundled up bears?

I love making cards for Halloween and Fall because the color combinations just speak to my heart.  This stamps set is from Pink & Main called Autumn Bears.

The inked the background on this card using Mowed Lawn & Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide for the grassy area.  The sky was inked with Scattered Straw, Carved Pumpkin and Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide Ink,  I splattered the sky with watered down Crackling Campfire.

I colored my little friends with Copic Markers in the following colors:

  • E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, R11, R20 - Bear Bodies
  • G21, YG63, G94
  • R14, R24, R29
  • BG53, BG45, BG07
  • B21, B45, B97
  • Y00, Y06, Y15
  • Y35, Y38, YR04

I wasn't sure which bears I was going to use and I didn't have my background done, so I did stamp  and color some more bears along with a whole bunch of leave.

I don't have a lot of Pink & Main products, so I went to my stash and found the Leafy Tree Backdrop and Stitched Rectangle Frames from Lawn Fawn to complete my card.

I popped up two of the beats and the pumpkin grouping with foam dots.  I also popped up the sentiment which I stamped from the Autumn Bears Stamp Set.

This was a fun card to create on a quiet Sunday afternoon.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have an amazing fall!

Little Monsters

How cute are these little guys?  These cards were really quick to make - just a little bit of coloring and some really fun Halloween patterned paper.

I made these cards with the Little Monsters Stamp and Coordinating Dies from Pink & Main's latest release.

I used their Circle Flip Card Die to cut the card bases out of black cardstock.  I also used the die to cut the patterned paper from their new Spooky Time Paper Pack.

This little guys were colored with Copic markers in the following colors:

  • C0, C1, C4, C5
  • Y17, YR16, YR07
  • YG00, YG01, YG25
  • Y04, Y19
  • B00. FBG2
  • V01, V04, V05

I finished the inside of the card the same on both of them.

I can't wait to send these out this Halloween.

Thanks for stopping by!

Field Of Dreams

Today I have a really sweet Fall card that I submitted for the Pink & Main August Challenge.  This month was a sketch challenge.  I am crazy about the new Field Of Dreams little friends.  They are just so darn cute!

I like sketch challenges because it gives me a clear idea of my card layout.  I knew that I wanted to use one of the little scarecrows, so I went to my printed paper stash and found this older Carta Bella - Welcome Autumn.

I used Copic markers to color this little fella, his friend and the flowers in the following colors:

  • C1, C3, C5, C7
  • E41, E42, E43
  • G20, G21, G24
  • E29, E39
  • Y26, Y23, Y24 - Straw
  • E08, E09, YR24 - Outfit
  • R20

This was such a fun and quick card to make.  I am looking forward to coloring all this little guys.  I'll be sure to share it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Spe-Shell Day - Craft Roulette #279

This is my entry for Craft Roulette - episode #279.  Other than the card I made at Paperganza, it has been a little bit since I have submitted a card.  Pink and Main was a vendor at Paperganza, so while I was there I picked up a few sets.  They have some really cute things that have been so fun to color.

The parameters for this card are:

PROJECT - Kids Card

ELEMENT - Pictures

COLORS - Theater

RANDOM - 1/2 and 12

I didn't really have anything stamp or other with kids on it, so I decided I would do something that kids would enjoy doing.  This little turtles looks like his is living his best life building a sand castle on the beach.  The stamp set I used is Pink and Main's Spe-Shell Day.

I colored it with Copic markers in the following colors:

  • E42, E31, E55, E25
  • Y13, Y19
  • B21, B23
  • R21, R22
  • YR04, YR07
  • YG13, YG05, YG25
  • C0

For the picture element, I cut a piece of white cardstock 2.5" x 2.75".  I cut an opening inside the rectangle cardstock using a craft knife to make a Polaroid frame.  I added a little Copic - C0, marker on the edges to soften them.  Once I had my image colored, I glued the frame on top and trimmed it to create my picture.  I used one of the sentiments in the stamp set for the bottom of my picture.

I struggled a little bit on the colors, so I decided on a colorful stripe similar to Joseph's Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

For the random half and half, I used Pink and Main's Hexagon Flip Card Die.  It was perfect!!!!

To finish up my card, I used another sentiment from the stamp set on the inside of the card.

This card turned out so cute!!!  I don't know what I was stressing over.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have an amazing day!

Something To Crow About

Hello!  Every now and then a stamp set comes along that just sings to me heart.  These little scarecrows did just that!  They are from Pink and Main.  The stamp set is called The Field Of Dreams.  It is just adorable.

I created my own background using a hillside and cloud stencil.  The colors that I used are Sage and Slumber from Pink Fresh.

I used Copic markers to color these little friends, crows and flowers in the following colors:

C1, C3, C5, C7

E41, E42, E43

G20, G21, G24

E29, E39

Y26, YR23, YR24 - Straw

E08, E09, YR24 - Outfit

R20

BV00, BV11, V25

R83, RV34, R56

B21, B45, B37

Once I had them colored, I added some gel pen highlights and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I glued the flowers behind the scarecrows following the line of the hillside.  I popped up the scarecrows and crows with foam tape.  I used the sentiment from the stamp set.  I stamped it on cardstock, cut it out and popped it up on foam tape also.

This was such a fun card to create!  I just love it!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!!!
