Looking For A Little Christmas

Is it ever too early to get excited for Christmas? Not when this mischievous little fox is already on holiday watch! Just look at him peeking around the Christmas garland like he’s checking to see who’s been naughty, nice, or hiding the cookies. He’s from the new Christmas Peeks stamp set by Pajama Crafter Stamps, and a peek-a-boo card was absolutely the perfect way to show off this curious little cutie.

I also have a YouTube video up on my channel showing exactly how this festive little card came together. Pop on over, grab a cozy drink, and come see all the Christmas cardmaking magic in action!

I used Copic markers to color him in the following colors:

  • E13, E09, E18 - cinnamon sticks
  • R27, R39 - berries
  • YG61, G82 -    lighter green foliage
  • YG91, BG93, BG98 - pine
  • YR30, YR23, YR24, YR27 - fox head and body
  • E0000, YR0000, E40 - fox muzzle, belly and inner ear
  • T0, T2, T3, T7 - foot and additional shading for the muzzle, belly and inner ear

The sentiment on this card is included in the stamp set.  I added it to a little piece burlap to enhance the woodland feel of this card.

This was such a fun card to make.  Make sure you check out the video to see how I cut out the card front.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have been inspired to create this little gal!

Festivi-Cheese Pantry Box Christmas Card

Hello, festive pun-lovers! Here’s my merry little take on the Crafty Pantry Box Die Set by Trinity Stamps. Just look at those cheese and crackers, all dressed up like they’re headed to the North Pole potluck. With silly puns, a delightfully cheesy background, and enough holiday spirit to make a fruitcake blush, this might just be the most unexpected Christmas card on the snack table. It’s perfect for the punny person in your life—or anyone who believes Christmas could use a little more cheddar.

Follow along on my YouTube channel, as I build this festive pantry box—no elves required, but snacks are strongly encouraged.  https://youtu.be/ItnM1RqN7Oo

Halloween Candy Bowl

Look at all the goodies spilling out of this pumpkin candy bowl! This card is packed with bright color, spooky fun, and just the right amount of Halloween mischief. The bold sentiment is ready to wish everyone a day filled with delicious treats, creepy-cute surprises, and maybe only a few tricks along the way. I created this card with one of my favorite die sets, the Crafty Pantry Box Die Set by Trinity Stamps, and I love how it turned into a festive little bowl of Halloween goodness.

I stamped the Pantry Box Greeting on a piece of white cardstock, then cut it out with the coordinating die set.  I wanted it to blend with the purple cardstock background, so I colored it in with a matching marker.  I think doing this really made the lettering pop.  What do you think?

I used the bowl from the Tiny Whisk and Wish Die Set.  To decorate the bowl, I used a face cut out from the Pumpkin Head Coordinating Die Set.  All of the yummy candy is from the Pumpkin Candy Bucket Die Set.  To make the application of the bowl and candies easier, I like to apply a piece of Trinity Rip and Stick 6" x 9" Adhesive Sheet to the cardstock before I die cut it, so all I have to do is peel off the protective tape and apply it where I want it.

The small words were stamped using the Simply Sentimental: Halloween Stamp Set, to step it up a bit.  I used this stamp set for the inside sentiment also.

I also, used bats cut from black cardstock using the bats from Spooky Silhouettes Coordinating Die Set.

I think this is just the cutest Halloween card, but then again, I am partial to any card made with the Crafty Pantry Box Die Set.  If you want some other pantry box ideas, check out some of my earlier posts.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope this spooky-sweet project inspires you to create a fun Crafty Pantry box of your own—filled with treats, tricks, and plenty of Halloween charm.

Happy Halloween From the Boo Crew!

The Boo Crew has floated in to wish you a frightfully fun Happy Halloween! If this ghostly gang makes you shake, rattle, and roll, then this shaker card is definitely calling your name.

For the spooky background, I blended Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, and Villain Potion Distress Oxide inks to create a bright, eerie Halloween glow.

These little haunters were a scream to color! I used the following Copic markers:

  • C0, C1, C3, C5, C7 – gray
  • Y00, Y08 – yellow
  • Y17, YR16, YR18 – orange
  • V15, V17 – violet
  • B0000, B00, B04 – blue

I placed these friendly ghosts on a shaker pouch, which makes the whole card quick, easy, and extra fun—just give it a shake and let the spooky magic swirl! The sentiment is included with the set, so I stamped it on cardstock and trimmed it down to fit.

Thanks so much for stopping by—I hope your day is full of treats, sparkle, and maybe even a friendly little ghost or two!

Happy BOO-thday!

I’m not totally sure if ghosts have birthdays… but I am very sure they have Boo-days! This adorable trio showed up ready to celebrate with cupcakes, flowers, presents, and plenty of spooky-sweet party vibes. I created this card using the Happy Boo-day Stamp Set.

These little friends are partying on a cake-inspired background filled with sprinkles and sparkle—because every Boo-day bash needs a little extra magic! I arranged the sentiment lettering to look like a banner, which makes the whole card feel even more festive.

These party-ready pals were so much fun to color. I used the following Copic markers:

  • RV10, RV02 – pink
  • B0000, B000 – blue
  • V01, V12, V04 – lavender
  • Y00, Y02, Y08 – yellow
  • E31, E33, E55 – Brown

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely hoping my invitation to this Boo-day party doesn’t get lost in the haunted mail!

Thanks so much for stopping by—I hope your day is full of treats, sparkle, and maybe even a friendly little ghost or two!

Here To Boo-gie

Panic at the Disco? Nope… these ghouls came to party! I created this card with the new Faboolous Birthday Stamp Set, and it is bringing all the spooky sparkle—from the disco ball to the girls shaking their boo-things.

For the background, I blended Wilted Violet and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink through a stencil, then gave it an extra dose of shine with silver hot foil. Because if ghouls are going to the disco, they deserve a little sparkle!

The sentiment is made from a mix of different letter dies, and I added shadows behind the letters so they really jump off the card.

Coloring this card was quick, easy, and totally fun. Here are the Copic markers I used:

  • ·       B00, B04
  • ·       B63, FV2
  • ·       RV10

I don’t know about you, but I would absolutely dance the night away with this boo crew!

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog—now go shake your groove thing!

Spooky Night Flight!

Boo to you, crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a frightfully fun little card featuring the Witchy Boo Crew by Kat Scrappiness. This card is packed with Halloween charm—from the beautifully inked night sky to the spooky trees setting the perfect scene. And just look at these adorable Halloween cuties! They’re all dressed up and ready for tricks, treats, and a whole lot of witchy-cute fun.

For the spooky sky background, I ink blended Wilted Violet, Prize Ribbon, Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Ink.

I used the new All Fenced In Craft Die with a piece of white wood grained cardstock.  To give it the gray color, I used Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide for the main color and then went back in with Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink to dust up the texture on the paper.

Aren't you just loving those scary trees in the background?  I used the Trio Of Trees Craft Die to cut them out of black cardstock.

I stamped and die cut my friends using the new Witchy Boo Crew Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies.  To color them in, I used Copic markers in the following colors:

  • E000, E00, E11 - skin
  • Y38, YR16, YR09 - orange
  • Y00, Y04, Y08 - yellow
  • YG00, YG01, YG05  - green
  • V04, V15, V17 - purple
  • W1, W3, W5, W7 - black

To finish up this card, I added a few little confetti bits to sparkle up the sky.

I didn't put a sentiment on the front of this card because it was busy enough and I actually left the inside blank for a unique and heartfelt message.

Thank you for stopping by today!  Happy crafting!

They are part of the new Meowy Christmas stamp set by Pajama Crafter Stamps, and this design is purr-fect for a shaker pouch card. I paired it with a bit of Christmas patterned paper in the background, then added sprinkles inside for extra merry movement. With all that sparkle and shake, these kitties may be too busy playing to finish their song!

I colored these little friends with the following Copic markers:

  • YR0000, E41, E50, E31 - cream

  • T1, T3, T5 - noses

With her soft mauve-tinted feathers nestled among berries, pine, and holly, she brings the perfect mix of woodland charm and holiday cheer.

She is part of the new Cozy Chirps stamp set by Pajama Crafter Stamps, and I colored her to play beautifully against the light mint plaid background. Add in a little paper lace, and this card turns into a sweet, festive hug in paper form.

I colored her with Copic markers in the following colors:

This Stings

It is the 20th of the month so it is time for an Oh So Inspired Card.

This month's inspiration card is a card by Tina S. or @cardsandcoffeetime on Instagram.  I liked the background layer she had on her card and the large sentiment.

I don't have many large die cuts, so I decided to use a large shaped die with a stamped and colored image.

The products I used on my card are:

  • Paper: Bee Happy by Paper Rose
  • Notebook Borders Die Set by Unity Stamp Co
  • This Sings Stamp Set by Unity Stamp Co.

I really enjoy participating on the team - it definitely makes you look through your stash.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see how you were "Oh So Inspired".

Peeking Through The Porthole

I think we are definitely in the dog days of summer, but I am always ready to "dive into fun".  I created this card with some new goodies from Trinty Stamps and of course, my favorites, the adventurous gnomes.

This was a really easy shaker card to make because I used the new Porthole Circle Card Add On Die Set to create my well for the little shaker elements.  I did this by using the die to cut out six portholes and then stacked them on top of each other.  I glued the six stacked porthole pieces on top of a circle card that I cut out using the Circle Shaped Card Die Set.

I used one of the center cut outs to ink blend a background with Salty Ocean and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide Ink.

To decorate the inside of my porthole, I used the dies that are included with the Porthole Circle Card Add On Die Set for the sand, seaweed and coral.

I thought that I would suspend my gnome up above the background in the shaker card so that the shaker elements would more freely, but it really didn't make a difference at all. So, the next time I make a card similar to this one, I will just glue him to the background.

My little gnome is from the Gnomies Under The Sea Stamp Set.  I used the coordinating dies to cut him out.

I colored him with Copic markers in the following colors:

  • C1, C3, C5 - beard
  • E000, E00, E11 - skin
  • RV21, RV04, RV06 - pink
  • Y02, Y08 - yellow
I cut the actual porthole from a silver and dark gray shimmery cardstock and glued those pieces to a round piece of acetate.  I used the Clean Cut Layers-Circle Set A to cut the acetate piece along with the sentiment piece for the inside of the card.  Before I sealed up my card, I sprinkled in some Snow Day Confetti.  That mix is just perfect for the inside of this card.

For the inside sentiment, I used one of the sentiments from the Summer Gnome Fun Stamp Set.  It was just perfect!

I have a process video up on my YouTube channel if you would like to follow along.

I love this new porthole die set and I have a whole bunch of other ideas on how it could be used. Stay tuned!

If you purchase through the links above, I may earn a small commission from Trinity Stamps at no additional cost to you. Thank you—your support helps me continue creating content for this blog.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you get the opportunity to dive in to some fun this summer.
