Knock Knock, Who's There?

Hi friends!  I created this card for the current Lawn Fawn Challenge - Woodland Wonders.  This was the first opportunity I had to play with the new Knock Knock, Who's There Die Set.  This is such an easy interactive die!  I also wanted to use the Acorn House Die. It had been a long time since I had used it, but I though it would be cute behind the little library, however, I had to make a square card in order to fit is all in.

I created the background using Distress Oxide Ink.  For the sky, I used Prize Ribbon and Salty Ocean.  For the ground, I used the Grassy Hillside Stencil with Twisted Citron and Rustic Wilderness.

I also used the Knock Knock, Who's There? Tree Add On.  I cut a couple of layers of the leafy part of the tree to create a little more dimension on the card.  To get the coloring on this part of the tree, I used my Copic Airbrush System to spray different colors of yellows and oranges.  I also spray extra paper for the leaves which I cut using the leaf die included in the Acorn House Die.

I dusted the edges and random areas on the tree and the house using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink.  The roof, door and window frames were colored with shades of red and rust using the Copic Airbrush system.

My little friends are from the Little Woodland Library and Little Woodland Library Add On.  They were colored with Copic markers in the following colors:

  • E31, E34, E37
  • E41, E42, E43
  • R20, R21
  • B0000
  • YR02, YR04, YR07, YR09
  • YR20, YR21, YR23
  • Y00, Y11, Y19
  • E07, E08, E19
In order to have a little dimension on the card, I popped up the most of my little friends and leaves with foam dots.

I am really happy with the way this card turned out and I hope that you are inspired by it and create one of you own.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have an amazing fall!

Sandy
