Positive Tate's Halloween Scare

Oh my goodness - doesn't this card just make you chuckle?  Crafty Stamp Co. is back with Positive Tate in all his Halloween glory.  These little friends are a really quick color and so fun to make.

In order to show all four of the potatoes, I needed to make a slimline card.  I inked the background with Salty Ocean and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide Ink.  I had also inked some Twisted Citron on the bottom of the card, but my background die cut covers most of it up, however, it does give a slight glow to the horizon.

I used the Haunted Graveyard Die from Whimsey stamps, which was perfect since it is a slimline.  The grassy area was created with the Lawn Fawn grassy border. The moon is from Riley and Company, it is a die and stencil set called, Moon & Bats.  I used Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide for the yellow coloring.

The stamp set is called Positive Tate's Halloween Scare.  I used Copic markers in the following colors:

  • C2. C4, C6 - grays
  • YR31, Y17, YR16 - orange
  • YG00, YG01, YG23 - greens
  • Y02, Y13, Y35 - yellows
  • V01, V05, V06, V09 - purples
  • Y23, YR23, YR24 - broom
  • E30, E31, E34, E35 - potato

The sentiment is from the stamp set.  I stamped it on white cardstock and cut out my own speech bubble because I didn't have one the right size.

I have the perfect friend for this card and I can't wait to send it to her next month.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope this card has inspired you to create one of your own!

Sandy
