Hello! Today I have this happy little card that I created using a stamp set called Little Things by Gerda Steiner Designs. I love the little glasses on this guy.
To create this card, I stamped this little guy on a 5.5" x 4.25" Hammermill Cardstock, Premium Color Copy, 100lb paper. I always use this paper for ink blending. I will use it for Copic coloring occasionally when I need a larger surface but always for ink blending and hot foiling. I prefer to use X-Press It Blending Card but it is pretty expensive, so I use it mostly to stamp smaller images and cut them out with dies or my scan and cut. I used a post it not to make a mask to cover this guy so I can ink blend the background. I used an old stencil from My Favorite Things. I used Speckled Egg and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink.
I colored him in the following Copic colors:
- W00, W0, W1, W3, W5, W7
- G21, G24, G94
- Y13, Y18
With my little mole square finished, I used one of the dandelions from the set to stamp the bottom corner and the bee to stamp the upper corner. I used a marker to make the little dashed line behind the bee.
To finish my card, I glued my white cardstock piece on top of a piece of green cardstock cut to 5.5" x 4.25" and then glued it to a card base.
This is a really quick card to make and is just perfect for notecard.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope that you enjoy a few little things today!
Sandy
