Creepin It Real!

Hi there!  Just a quick on for today.  Riley and Company has some really fun new Halloween Cut Ups that were just released a week or so ago.  I just couldn't resist because they make such great backgrounds for stamped images.  I had a few little friends from the Spooky Hollow Boo and Cute Little Devil stamp sets left over from an afternoon of coloring, so I used them.

For the background on this card, I ink blended Mustard Seed, Uncharted Mariner, Speckled Egg, Crushed Olive and Forest Moss Distress Oxide Ink.  This is a color combination I hadn't used before but it definitely has a spooky vibe don't you think.

The haunted house and spooky tree were cut from black cardstock using the new Haunted House Cut Up.  For the super cool moon, I used the Moon and Bats Cut Up to cut it from Yellow cardstock.  The coolest think about that die is that it has a built in stencil for the craters on the moon.  Amaze-balls.

I used silver embossing powder to heat emboss the sentiment.  In retrospect, I think that black embossing powder would have look better.  Next time!  The sentiment is from the Spooky Hollow Boo stamp set.

My little friends were colored with Copic markers in the following colors:

  • R17, R29, R39
  • C1, C3, C5, C7
  • YR30,  E30, E51
I hope these little guys are living their best Halloween lives!

Thanks for stopping by.

Sandy
