It's a new month and a new Anatomically Adorable Stamp and Die Set by Trinity Stamps! This one is called No Brainer. If you are Craft Roulette follower, this is the set for you - it actually has a sentiment that says "Kiss Your Brain". I will probably do another one or two cards from this set, so I may incorporate that sentiment in the next one. However, nothing comes between me and my "Brain Fuel" every morning. For this card, I wanted a little bit of shimmer so I decided to use the Starfield Letterpress with Teal Glimmer Foil on a light turquoise cardstock to use as base of my cup. I combined the latte die pieces from both the Take Out Coffee Cup Shaped Die Set and the Coffee On The Go Die Set to create the shaker well. I taped the two pieces together and used this combined piece to cut out seven pieces from 110lb white cardstock. I glued them together and used a Copic maker to color in the sides on the outside and the inside so that they match the cardstock that I used for the card base. Before I took the dies apart, I used them to cut the shape from the foiled cardstock. I used the inside piece as the background for the inside of my shaker.

To make sure the top of the cup was the same height as the bottom, I cut the top using the die from the Take Out Coffee Cup Shaped Die Set eight times from the scrap 110lb cardstock and glued them together. One of the great things about this die set is that it comes with a stencil to shade the cup top. I used the stencil on white cardstock and shaded with the ink left in my Shading Sidekick Blending Brush. Once I got all my pieces glued together, I glued them to the front of the card that I had cut out. Before I sealed the card with a piece of acetate, I sprinkled in the embellishments. The shaker pieces are a shop exclusive called Limited Edition Coffee Themed Mix.
Once it was sealed up, I glued the foiled cardstock and the ink shaded top to the top of may card. I used the die to cut out the label and circle from patterned paper.
I colored my brain, (ha! ha! - that sounds funny),with Copic markers in; R81, RV91, RV32.
I used the Graham Cracker Alphabet Die Set to cut my lettering for the sentiment. I used two colors of cardstock to create a shadow on the letters to help them stand out a little better on the acetate.
For the inside of the card, I used the dies to cut out white cardstock to "beef" up the back of the card and give me a nice area for the sentiment. I used the Supporting Script Sentiments to stamp in the sentiment.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you jump on over to the Trinity Stamps shop and grab one of these Anatomically Adorable sets for yourself.
Sandy
