Oh my...these little mice are working from sunrise to sunset to harvest their amazing crops! I love how we are able to build such fun scenes with Lawn Fawn's mice. For this card, I decided to use the gourds, apples and corn from the new Spring Basket Add On: Fall for my mice to harvest. This fit perfectly in the little soil plots, and wheelbarrow.
I also made this a slider card with Pear Blossom Press's new Snap and Slide disks. Those little things are a game changer for sliders. They are so easy and quick to use.
I used the Large Slimline with Sliders die set to cut out my base and the first hill layer of my card. I ink blended the background with Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin. I used the Slimline Stitched Hillside Border to cut my hillsides from Candy Bar and Algae cardstock.
To build my card, I used 2mm strips of 1/8" foam strips to create the channel for my slider and to go around my hills. Since I used the tractor and the wagon from Hay There Hayrides, I used two sliders to support and slide them.
I colored images from Hay There Hayrides, Veggie Happy, Hay There and Spring Basket Add On: Fall Stamp and Die sets using Copic markers.
For the sentiments, I used the new Scripty Fall die and Henry's Build A Sentiment: Fall. I cut the Scripty Fall from a piece of the new Favorite Flannel Fall patterned paper and backed it with a piece of Paper Bag cardstock.
It had been awhile since I had made a slimline or slider card and I couldn't be more thrilled with the way these turned out. I hope you have found a little inspiration to create a fun little harvest card of your own.
Thank you for stopping by!
Sandy
