Hello friends and Happy Holidays! Today I have a sweet Nativity Scene featuring my favorite Gnomes from Trinity Stamps. There are so many little friends between the Gnometivity and Glad Tidings Stamp Sets, that I needed to make an A7 card. I don't make very many of those because they have so much area to cover. However, I colored all the friends, but wasn't able to fit the Three Kings in the scene, so let's pretend they are still following the star.
For the background on this card, I used Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink for the ground and Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink for the sky. I spattered the sky with a little Metallic Silver Watercolor.
My friends are all colored with Copic markers in the following colors:
- B01, B24, B25, E41, E42 - Mary
- B000, B00, B01, E41, E42, Y11 - Baby Jesus
- YG03, G94, Y21, Y23, Y24 - Joseph
- R02, R24, R29, Y21, Y23, YR21 - Shepard
- E23, E27, E37 - Shoes, Mittens, Camel
- E00, E11 - Gnome Noses
- C00, C0, C1 - Beards
- C1, C3, C5 - Donkey
- E97, E99, E08, E09 - Stable
I used a sentiment that is included in the stamp set. I heat embossed it with black embossing powder.
This is just the perfect card for one of my family members, I can't wait to send it to them.
