If You Got It Haunt It

This debonair Jack-O’-Lantern is serving spooky forest charm with a mischievous little grin. There he sits, cool as can be, waiting to give the next trick-or-treater a playful fright — though with that patched-up side, he’s definitely more cute than creepy. This fun little fellow is from the Patchwork Pumpkins Stamp Set by Pajama Crafter Stamps.

I have layered him on an ink blended background.  I blended Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink to make the spooky sky.

The tree silhouette background is the Spooky Forest Overlay by Riley and Company. The corner cobweb is a Kat Scrappiness Die from the Creepy Crawly Craft Die Set.

The sentiment is from the Pajama Crafter Stamps Where My Ghouls At Stamp Set.  I stamped in on a moon that I cut out with the Riley and Company Moon and Bats Die Set.

My friend is colored with Copic markers in the following colors:

  • Y32, YR12, YR15, YR18 - pumpkin
  • T1, T3, T5, T7 - gray
  • YG61, G43, G46 - leaves
  • Y00, Y02, Y13, Y17 - yellow
  • YG11, YG05, YG63 - bright green
  • RV10, RV02 - pink
  • V01, V12, V15, V17 - purple
  • B000, B00, BG02 - blue
This little guy just makes me so happy and makes me look forward to spooky season.  How about you?

Sandy

Peek A Boo

Peek-a-boo… she sees you! This darling little skeleton, topped off with her bright green bow, is peeking over the stone fence—not to give you a fright, but to send a sweet and spooky Happy Halloween your way. She’s from the new Peek A Bones stamp by Pajama Crafter Stamps, and she is all treats, no tricks.

To bring this little scene to life, I popped up both the skeleton and the spooky foliage at the base of the wall for a bit of dimension and playful shadow. She’s set in front of a glowing full moon with an inky Distress Oxide background that adds just the right haunted-night magic.

I used Copic markers in the following colors:

  • BV0000, BV31, BV01 - skeleton
  • YG01, YG03, YG05 - green bow
  • Y38, YR18, YR07 - leaves and pumpkin
  • W0, W2, W5, W7 - wall
  • BG90, G24 - greenery

With that much cuteness creeping over the fence, she really doesn’t need a sentiment—we already know she’s far too cute to spook!

Thank you for sneaking by and Happy Halloween crafting.

Looking For A Little Christmas

Is it ever too early to get excited for Christmas? Not when this mischievous little fox is already on holiday watch! Just look at him peeking around the Christmas garland like he’s checking to see who’s been naughty, nice, or hiding the cookies. He’s from the new Christmas Peeks stamp set by Pajama Crafter Stamps, and a peek-a-boo card was absolutely the perfect way to show off this curious little cutie.

I also have a YouTube video up on my channel showing exactly how this festive little card came together. Pop on over, grab a cozy drink, and come see all the Christmas cardmaking magic in action!

I used Copic markers to color him in the following colors:

  • E13, E09, E18 - cinnamon sticks
  • R27, R39 - berries
  • YG61, G82 -    lighter green foliage
  • YG91, BG93, BG98 - pine
  • YR30, YR23, YR24, YR27 - fox head and body
  • E0000, YR0000, E40 - fox muzzle, belly and inner ear
  • T0, T2, T3, T7 - foot and additional shading for the muzzle, belly and inner ear

The sentiment on this card is included in the stamp set.  I added it to a little piece burlap to enhance the woodland feel of this card.

This was such a fun card to make.  Make sure you check out the video to see how I cut out the card front.

Have A Meowy Christmas

Oh meow, it looks like these two festive felines are ready to steal the Christmas spotlight! With their sweet little berry headbands and carols at the ready, this adorable pair is bringing plenty of whisker-filled holiday cheer.

They are part of the new Meowy Christmas stamp set by Pajama Crafter Stamps, and this design is purr-fect for a shaker pouch card. I paired it with a bit of Christmas patterned paper in the background, then added sprinkles inside for extra merry movement. With all that sparkle and shake, these kitties may be too busy playing to finish their song!

I colored these little friends with the following Copic markers:

  • YR0000, E41, E50, E31 - cream
  • Y26, YR24, YR27 - tan
  • R01, R11, R20 - inner ears
  • T1, T3, T5 - noses

If cozy Christmas vibes came with wings, this little cutie would be first in line! Just look at that sweet angel all dressed up for the season in her adorable pinecone hat. With her soft mauve-tinted feathers nestled among berries, pine, and holly, she brings the perfect mix of woodland charm and holiday cheer.

She is part of the new Cozy Chirps stamp set by Pajama Crafter Stamps, and I colored her to play beautifully against the light mint plaid background. Add in a little paper lace, and this card turns into a sweet, festive hug in paper form.

I colored her with Copic markers in the following colors:

You're Out Of This World

Hello, crafty friends! Suit up and get ready for a little outer space cuteness, because these brave little astronauts are floating in with all the charm. This adorable new stamp set from Pajama Crafter Stamps is called Such An Asteroid, and that pun has me grinning from one galaxy to the next.

For this card, I went round—like a tiny moon, planet, or crafty little space portal! I used one of my favorite techniques, ink blending, to create a fun galaxy-style background. To keep the theme orbiting along, I tucked the sentiments onto a little planet too.

This cute little pair was colored with Copic Markers using just a handful of colors, which made them quick, easy, and extra fun to bring to life.

You're One In A Milky Way

Whoa—did a flying donut just zoom across the galaxy, or are my crafty eyes playing tricks on me? I may need to search the Milky Way for clues! This bright, colorful card was created with the new I Come In Piece Stamp Set by Pajama Crafter Stamps, and it is packed with out-of-this-world cuteness.

I had an absolute blast creating this card! It gave me the perfect excuse to play with two of my favorite crafty things: ink blending and coloring. The background features seven different ink colors blended together for a dreamy space vibe, and the sweet little alien, stars, and planets were colored with Copic Markers.

And can we talk about that sentiment? It totally steals the show! Bold, beautiful, and impossible to miss, it gives the card just the right amount of cosmic sparkle.

Every little detail on this card makes me smile—from the playful space theme to the cheerful colors. It is pure crafty joy from one galaxy to the next!

Under Sea Shark-cuterie!

Cue the confetti—and maybe a few fin waves! This Shark-cuterie Board Stamp Set by Pajama Crafter Stamps is making a big splash and serving up serious under-the-sea party vibes. Packed with playful, fishy treats, it’s the perfect way to turn any celebration into a fintastic feast!

The background of this card is ink blended with Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sketch Distress Oxide Ink.  Once it was blended, I spattered on a little water followed by some watered down white acrylic paint.

I used the largest of my Catherine Pooler Wavy Nested Die to give this background an additional wavy vibe.

The two stamp sets that I used are What The Krill and Sharkcuterie Board.  I used Copic markers in the following colors:

  • E13, E25, E27 - board
  • Y00, Y08, Y19 - yellow
  • R14, R17, R29 - red
  • E42, E43, E44 - basket

  • RV21, RV04, RV06 - pink

I left the inside of this card blank, because I haven't quite decided what occasion I would you is for.  It would actually work for any occasion and it would work for a more masculine card - so we'll see.

Take Me To Your.....Donut?

Oh my stars—could this be any cuter? Aliens cruising around in donut spaceships? Yes, please! This adorable new stamp collection from Pajama Crafter Stamps is called I Come In Piece, and it is serving up pure cosmic sweetness. These little extraterrestrial cuties look like they’re off to explore the Milky Way—or maybe making a quick pit stop to share an out-of-this-world sundae.

This background has been ink blended using Distress Oxide Inks in Squeezed Lemonade., Picked Raspberries, Carved Pumpkin, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Lost Shadow, Hickory Smoke and Black Soot.  Phew!  That is a lot of colors!  I also used two stencils by Trinity Stamps called Crater Layers Stencil Set and Moon Layers.

My outer space pals have been colored with the following colors:

  • RV02, RV04, RV06
  • V04, V15, V17
  • B01, B02, B04
  • B0000, B000, B00
  • Y00, Y08, Y19
  • Y00, Y17, YR16
  • E31, E23, E57
I popped up each of the colored images on foam squares, to add dimension to the card.  It would also be really cute if the "spaceships" were on wobblers.  Can you imagine?

Adventure Awaits

Ahoy, matey! Today I’m sharing an encouragement card I made with Adventure Awaits, a newer stamp set from Pajama Crafters Stamps. I love the ship with its pirate flag—it suggests strength and resilience. I chose sentiments that encourage the recipient to stay strong and keep going.

I wanted some dimension for this card, but I didn't want to just pop up the ship on foam dots and the image seam appropriate for a shake card, so I decided to frame the ship and sentiment.  I used an older die by My Favorite Things that cut two openings with the larger square opening up top.

To keep the construction of this card "clean", I used the die to cut out 8 layers of 110lb cardstock.  I glued the layers together to create "wells".  I used the die to cut the patterned paper for the front and inner areas.

I used Copic markers to color the ship.  I matched to colors to the patterned paper as best as I could.  Once it was colored, I cut it out, applied 1mm foam squares to the back and centered it in the square openings.

This is a very quick and easy card to make.  I have a video up on my YouTube Channel if you would like to follow along:

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

All American Girl

Just look at this All American Girl by Pajama Crafter Stamps! She’s ready to celebrate the 4th of July, with the flag draped over her shoulders like a cape. Her hair bows tame those curly locks and perfectly match both her outfit and glasses. She’s simply American perfection!

Of course, this little beauty needed to have a background of fireworks for the evening's celebration.  In order to create this background, I first used the Fireworks Hot Foil Plates by Lawn Fawn with blue, silver and red foil.  Next, I used the Lawn Fawn Grassy Stencil to lay in the grass using Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink.  The sky was ink blended with Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink.

I heat embossed the sentiment that is included in the stamp set with black embossing powder.  I just think this background is just outstanding!

I colored this All-American Girl with Copic markers in the following colors:

  • E000, E00, E11, E21 - skin
  • B21, B41, B91 - shorts
  • Y04, Y06, Y08 - t-shirts
  • B00, B24, B26 - flag
  • R05, R24, R46 - flag
  • Y21, Y24, Y25 -hair
To add a little extra excitement to the center of the fireworks, I added some Starlight Confetti Embellishments by Trinity Stamps.  They are a very think holographic star that absolutely looks like the hot foiled fireworks.

This stamp set has a number of different sentiments, so I chose another one for the inside of this card.

She was just so fun to color!  I am sure I will be using her in other cards!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I truly hope you are enjoying your summer!

Champion In The Making

Every now and then I come across a patterned paper of die set that I just have to have.  This card has both of those.  The paper is called Vintage Carnival and it is by Crafter Companion.  I love the vintage look that is throughout the entire collection.  The die sets are from Simon Says Stamps and they are Prize Ribbon and Festive Bunting.

Of course, it is one thing to have great paper and some cool dies, but I needed to tie the two together with a stamp set.  I felt like this had a nostalgic baseball feel, so I decided to us the adorable stamp set by Pajama Crafter Stamps called Champion In The Making.  I think this little fella makes just the perfect focal point and the Fan Finger and Baseball Mitt balance out the whole card.  Everything about this stamp set is perfect from the baseball images to the sentiments.  I used two of the sentiments for the front of the card and one for the inside.

I used Copic markers to color my little friend and his accessories in the following colors:

  • W00, BG70, BG72 - blue gray
  • W00, W1, W3 - gray
  • E50, E34, E35 - hair
  • E50, E51, E53 - skin

I am just thrilled with the way this card turned out.  Don't you think he is just so handsome?

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have been inspired to color a little champion yourself.
