Creep It Cute

Can’t you just hear the spooky music playing softly in the background as Boo-larina twirls across the stage? With every graceful spin, she brings a little Halloween magic and a whole lot of charm to the scene. This sweetly spooky dancer is from the new Boo-larina Stamp Set by Pajama Crafter Stamps, and she is ready to pirouette her way right into your crafty heart. She has been placed on a dreamy inked background that feels like a moonlit Halloween night, complete with delicate vellum spider webs for an extra touch of ghostly sparkle. The result is cute, creepy, and completely enchanting—perfect for anyone who loves their Halloween cards with a dash of whimsy, a swirl of ballet, and just the right amount of boo!

To make her little stage moment even more unexpected, I stepped away from the usual orange, black, and purple Halloween palette and played with colors that feel a bit softer and more whimsical. They may be nontraditional for Halloween, but paired with Boo-larina’s stitched body, ragged tutu, and delightfully haunted expression, they give the card a uniquely spooky sweetness all its own.

I used Dried Marigold, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink to create this beautiful background.  For even more spooky fun, I used the Creepin It Real Stamp set with clear embossing powder to add tiny bit of dimension and interest.

Boo-larina and her pumpkins are colored with Copic markers in the following colors;

  • T0, T1, T3, T5, T7 - grays
  • V01, V12, V15 - purple
  • Y32, YR12, YR15, YR18 - orange
  • Y02, Y13, Y17 - yellow
  • RV10, RV02, RV63 - pink
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a beautiful spooky season.

Sandy
