Crafty Crew Kit by Crafty Stamp Co.

Hello!  This is my final card featuring Meadow from the Crafty Crew Kit by Crafty Stamp Co.

This has been such a fun set to play with.  Pre-orders end on April 15th, so jump on over to the Crafty Stamp Co. shop and get your order put it.  Shipping is scheduled for May 5 - just in time for the summer travel season.

I used my favorite pattern from the patterned paper collection in this kit.  I used the stencil, which also comes in the kit with some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink.  I also used the left over ink in my blending brush to dust my edges.  I also watered down some ink to spatter on my paper to add a little dimension and interest.

I colored Meadow with Copic Markers in the following colors:

  • E00, E11, E33 - skin
  • E50, E51, E53 - hair
  • R20, R21, R22 - skirt
  • B000, B41, B52 - shorts & top shading
  • YG61, G82, G24 - scooter
  • C2, C3, C4 - seat and headlight
  • T1, T3, T5 - tires
For the sentiment, I used one from the stamp set.  I stamped the flowers at the front and back of the sentiment and fussy cut the piece.

I popped up Meadow and the sentiment on foam dots to give the card some extra dimension.

To add a little extra to the upper left corner, I gathered a piece of the white organza ribbon that comes in the Monthly Subscriber Kit and anchored it to a pink button, which was included in the January Monthly Subscriber Kit.

Once my card front was finished, I attached it to a card base.  The card base was created by cutting a piece of white cardstock to 5/5" x 8.5" and scoring it at 4.25" and then folding it.

I think that this makes a very lovely notecard.  What do you think?

I have attached a link at the bottom of this post if you would like to follow along in the process.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope that you have a few trips planned for this summer!

Sandy
