Let's Hug It Out!

Hello!  Gosh, these two T-rex's are just trying so hard to "Hug It Out".

I created this card using the Trinity Stamps T-riffic stamp and die sets with a little Lawn Fawn thrown in.  

Rather than ink blend a background, which is what I usually do, I decided to use a patterned paper.  I thought that I would do some tropical type plants behind them as opposed to creating a scene for this card.  

I used the Lawn Fawn Tropical Leaves Background for the greenery,.  I trimmed the upper top and sides off because they were going to encroach on my sentiment.  I cut it out of a medium green cardstock.  I was going to just leave it that way, but I felt like it was lacking the "wow" factor.  The picture below was my initial card.

I used the extra dies that come with the background die set and cut out more greenery using a darker green cardstock.  I popped them up with micro black foam dots.  

The image is from the T-riffic stamp and die set and was colored with Copic markers in the following colors:

• YR21, YR24, YR27
• Y15, Y18
• C1, C4
• R17, R29

For the little speech bubbles, I used Lawn Fawn's All The Speech Bubbles for the bubble part.  The sentiment inside the bubble are from the T-riffic stamp set.  

The "hug" sentiment is from Simply Sentimental: Hug die set.  The other lettering is from the Banner Builder dies set.  

This card just cracks me up!  I hope you enjoy is also.
