Sorry You're Not Feeling Gouda

Hello!  I have just one more cheesy card to share.  This one includes the new Trinity Stamps Tiny Mouse Die.  I wasn't quite sure how I was going to use it, but I think it kind of makes a really cute outer border.

For the background on this card, I cut Mermaid Cardstock (LawnFawn) to 4.0" x 5.25".  I used Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Ink on the outside edges.  I spritzed it with Uncharted Mariner Distress Spritz to give it a little texture and shimmer.

I cut the mice bodies from a light gray cardstock, the ears from a medium gray and the eye and nose from a dark gray.  I touched up the edges with Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and blended just a tiny bit of Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink  inside their little ears.

The cheese pieces are from the Extra Cheese stamp set.  They were cut out with the coordinating dies and colored with Copic markers in the following colors:

  • Y02, Y08, Y15
  • R14, R24, R27
  • YR30, YR31
The sentiment is from the Brie-lliant stamp set.  I did have to trim the one sentiment that says, "Sorry Your Feeling Blue", so that it would work with the "Not Feeling Too Gouda".  I do this pretty often with sentiment stamps and haven't found it to ruin them or make them unusable.  I heat embossed it using black embossing powder.

Once I had the everything assembled, I adhered the inner card to a medium gray piece of cardstock cut to 4.25" x 5.5".

I am really pleased the way this card turned out.  I hope you find it as cute as I do.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have an amazing day!!!

Sandy
